Moorfield was originally established to be a Vertically Integrated investment, asset and financial manager, working as the local partners to non-domestic Private Equity Real Estate allocators. As such, for our Vertically Integrated strategies, the investment, asset and financial management activities are managed in-house.
Our Vertically Integrated capabilities are supplemented with the use of specialist Sector Partnerships, with industry-leading operators, to access specific skill sets or to broaden origination and operational management capability as part of a long-term relationship and portfolio aggregation.
We have a Hub & Spoke funding model, where sector-specific side-car vehicles (the ‘Spokes’) sit alongside our diversified fund (the ‘Hub’). The Spokes enable us to achieve greater scale in each investment theme with regards capital employed and assets under management (‘AUM’), which in turn lowers the cost of capital, enables economies of scale and attracts a broader profile of buyers when ready for investment realisation.
